While Fahy B fully deserved their win, the final score does not do justice to the massive effort a severely depleted Conn squad put into this game and the quality of some of their play, especially in the second half. Both of Conns goals came from Shane O'Malley, the first a sweet drive from the edge of the box, the second a brilliant free kick, but Conn created several good chances and could easily have had another two or three goals. Full credit to the lads whose heads never dropped and who took the game to Fahy right to the end.
